Scanner position requires computer and math skills . Daily use of a scanner gun, radio, and computer to stock and return pallets of foods and materials. Placing in-store orders to assembly lines. Using tools to measure plastic rolls. Includes counting boxes , meat ,cheese and,bread daily. Checking lables for correct quantity also, counting and weighing pallets to be returned . Using inventory programs to create new labels for returned pallets.

Palletizing and boxing various food items into display cases. Shrink wrapping, banding, and wooden box assembly for display cases and pallets.

Using a scanner gun to complete various sized orders. Memorizing location codes to find specific items. Some days involved boxing and packaging orders so they are ready to be mailed . Other days there was need in the loading department to put finished packages onto truck trailers .

• Picked orders accurately using handheld scanners, enhancing overall productivity and ensuring timely shipments.
