• I work in a team based environment . I perform inspection, testing and maintenance on all of Amtrak facilities,locomotives and train cars . My position requires me to troubleshoot equipment to determine corrective actions and causes of equipment failures for both locomotive , train Cars and facilities through out amtrak yard . My duties require me to installs, maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic circuits and systems such as HVAC and sanitation systems. I’m knowledgeable in Reading and interpreted blueprints, diagrams, maintaining heating and cooling equipment .Used welding, cutting, and forming tools to meet precise specifications,I’m knowledgeable on proper preventative maintenance on for radiators, waste systems and flushing systems . I maintain proper care and use of materials, test equipment, machines that are assigned with the job. .Maintained work areas by cleaning and straightening for maximum productivity and safety. As a building engineer my duties required me to work hand in had with outside contractors not only guiding them on there task but also insuring there safety throughout amtrak yard. I created and maintained detailed records of all office activities. I coordinated and scheduled meetings and appointments. I Independently worked on projects, while offering process coordination and cooperation with other teams. All while I Following FRA, OSHA, and company safety standards at all times.

I perform preparatory work for maintenance activities, some of which include the following; gathering equipment, supplies and materials, loading and unloading. I conduct in a variety of routine physical labor tasks and engage in all equipment projects such as changing and diagnosing heating pumps, changing cartridge, attending to plumbing issues, posting general notices, shoveling snow, replacing light bulbs, changing ballast, fixing fixtures, replacing dishwashers, and all other task given by my supervisor.

Maintained restroom functionality by repairing leaking faucets, clogged toilets, and other equipment. I operate heavy equipment such as snow plows ,forklifts and used company vehicle for pickup and delivery duties. I perform office assistance duties such as answering telephones, receiving deliveries and stocking supplies. My duties were to order and keep track of all inventory and maintain all equipment for further use. I've learned and gained skills in plumbing, HVAC, and electrical as well as keeping organize with all inventory and equipment. Completed daily, weekly, and monthly checklists on building equipment to maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures. Supervised technicians and assigned responsibilities as needed.

I performed preventative maintenance in guest rooms, meeting rooms, and public areas. My job required tasks such as replacing light fixtures, painting, caulking, buffering (marble) floors, varnishing wood, patching holes in walls, changing filters, replacing blow motors and cleaning coils in heating unit. I followed all maintenance procedures and standard guidelines. I performed miscellaneous repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, fixing toilets, unclogging drains, shampooing carpet, changing ballast, troubleshooting TV connections. I developed and maintained a positive working relationship with others as I learned about electrical and commercial HVAC. My duties required basic preventive maintenance on pumps,small engine repairs and other task requested from my supervisor.

I served as counter apprentice assisting customers, filling requests of the Service Department, using catalogues, keeping records, making out sales slips, filling telephone orders and doing other miscellaneous tasks for the employer. My duties as inventory manager apart of teamster Local 731 . I collaborated with purchasing and production to maintain levels of quality and on-hand inventory. I Strengthened inventory processes to balance supply needs with budget and space limitations. I labeled, organized and located inventory items in staging areas or on shelves according to quantity, size, or type of material. I analyzed inventory data to identify and address stock discrepancies. I trained new staff on job duties, company policies, and safety procedures for rapid onboarding and safe procedures.
