  • I work in a team based environment . I perform inspection, testing and maintenance on all of Amtrak facilities,locomotives and train cars . My position requires me to troubleshoot equipment to determine corrective actions and causes of equipment failures for both locomotive , train Cars and facilities through out amtrak yard . My duties require me to installs, maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic circuits and systems such as HVAC and sanitation systems. I’m knowledgeable in Reading and interpreted blueprints, diagrams, maintaining heating and cooling equipment .Used welding, cutting, and forming tools to meet precise specifications,I’m knowledgeable on proper preventative maintenance on for radiators, waste systems and flushing systems . I maintain proper care and use of materials, test equipment, machines that are assigned with the job. .Maintained work areas by cleaning and straightening for maximum productivity and safety. As a building engineer my duties required me to work hand in had with outside contractors not only guiding them on there task but also insuring there safety throughout amtrak yard. I created and maintained detailed records of all office activities. I coordinated and scheduled meetings and appointments. I Independently worked on projects, while offering process coordination and cooperation with other teams. All while I Following FRA, OSHA, and company safety standards at all times.

I operate heavy equipment such as snow plows ,forklifts and used company vehicle for pickup and delivery duties. I perform office assistance duties such as answering telephones, receiving deliveries and stocking supplies. My duties were to order and keep track of all inventory and maintain all equipment for further use. I've learned and gained skills in plumbing, HVAC, and electrical as well as keeping organize with all inventory and equipment. Completed daily, weekly, and monthly checklists on building equipment to maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures. Supervised technicians and assigned responsibilities as needed.
