- I was required to learn and use AutoCAD and other programming software to create a blueprint for a laptop stand; after creating the blueprint I worked through the stages of creating the laptop stand through different CNC machines, and powder coated it.
- I worked both alone and with a supervisor to learn their style of management, the hierarchy of the business, who reports to who; and gained a knowledge of the whole process by meeting and working with employees of all levels.
- I traveled to their different location in Belvidere to see how the warehouse side of the business works, how carefully the finished products are wrapped and placed on pallets waiting to be shipped.
