- I was in charge of making drawer slides. making sure incoming parts were in spec and good to run, if not return bin to appropriate location.
- I had to read blueprints to know where each part was located and supposed to go and how the parts operated. i also made sure there was mobility of the parts by adding oil paste to them, tested out the parts making sure the quality of them were good to package and send out. I fixed faults on the machines when there were breakdowns or jams, and recoded and reported any defects in the machines. i also manually put parts those parts together to form one final product with pieces and oil paste made available for me that day. i also recorded the final amount produced any reject materials or left overs placed a label on final product to be shipped out.
- For the racker position I also grabbed parts from a bin hung them on line hooks to be sent out to the powder coating room. I did this job on days for over time or days my machine was down and after i was furloughed.
