As a Computer network administrator in a base with 10 servers, 150 workstations, and 500 users, my role would included:

• Full control of the Win9x, NT, 2000, and XP operating systems in an Office environment: a deep understanding of operating systems.
• Understanding of computer network management systems, such as Exchange, AD, SMS, BackupExec, and QuotaAdvisor.
• Good understanding of infrastructure and communication equipment, such as modems, switches, routers, etc. Knowledge of communication protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP, and LDAP.
• Authorization of new soldiers, building authorizations, and training unit soldiers on various topics, such as field security, various applications, Office, and Windows: a certified trainer.
