DeMarcus Anderson

I am a driven individual determined to help others, and a team player with a history of success in communications with an objective to provide creative content, and also develop platforms for new and existing businesses. My goal is to work with networking companies whose mission is to build brands and partnerships. My drive is to help other student athletes achieve their dream. I have a drive for the youth and the only way I see fit to help them, is to coach them. On and off the field, court, around the baseball diamond, etc.

• Three Kings Construction Apprenticeship (2022-10 - Present) In class and On-the-job work training in construction. Program apprenticeship concludes with 6 certificates, including OSHA Compliance and Mandate Reporting.
• Most Outgoing (2022) , Most Determined (2021) (2021-06 - 2021-06) John F. Kennedy High School, nominated by peer group to represent class superlatives.
• Honor Roll (2022-06 - 2022-06) John F. Kennedy High School academic achievement.

• Frank D. Brook Scholarship and CGF Book Scholarship (2022-06 - 2022-06) $5,000 award recipient for 2022 Senior class based on character goals in life. Based on goals that have been set and achieved and goals that are set ahead and will be later achieved in the future. $500 Book Scholarship was merit based grant presented to mentees based on attendance over the 4 years of participation.
• Google Global Conference Presenter (2021-05 - 2021-05) Selected by Common Ground Foundation Directors and mentors to speak for Google's Global Conference on vision board smart goals content and board design.
• Nike Head Quarters with C.H.A.M.P.S Male Mentoring (2018-11 - 2018-11) Selected by C.H.A.M.P.S. Director to attend Nike Head Quarters in Portland, OR to meet with executives to share program information. The goal was to sustain partnership by way of company representation, as well as create promotional content. My contribution was content writer and lead designer. I was met with an opportunity for potential to intern with Nike after my 1st year in college, in 2023.

• Lawrence Hall (2021-03 - Present) Justice and Corrections, Mental Health and Clinical Social Work, and Mental Health and Substance Abuse Social Work
• Chicago Bar Association Law & Debate Club (2021-11 - 2022-02) A participant of a debate club which include direct examination, cross examination, and closing statement mock trials.
• AreoStar Aviation with Avion Institute (2020-10 - 2021-03) Online aviation simulation and content of airports, aviation, and building aircrafts.
• C.H.A.M.P.S. Male Mentoring (2018-09 - 2018-03) A male mentoring program focused on the three E's: Education, Empowerment, and Exposure in schools, in community based organizations.
• Common Ground Foundation (2018-08 - 2022-06) Transition to college program for urban area high school students.
