  • Responsible as LAN Admin, Radio Operator and Local Element for ships I am assigned to. Maintained 2 accounts with MSC so far onboard USNS Lewis and Clark and USNS Arctic.
  • Responsible for training junior personnel in all communication fundamentals, qualifying 6 personnel in KMI and radio operations for MSC.
  • Performed upgrades and repairs on all radio, LAN and crypto systems used onboard ships including VACM Modernization for crypto units.

  • As an IT1 in the US Navy Reserves, I assist in LAN Administration, as well as KMI operation for NCB-18. Currently responsible for ensuring all personnel within NCB-18 are KMI qualified, having qualified 24 people in KMI 301.

  • As a Tier 1 support technician, I worked on the AT&T Subcontract with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) to support the global WAN for the DoD. Maintained all layer 2 and 3 devices controlled by DISA to include Promina, MSPP and ODXC. I also was a KMI custodian, and responsible for maintaining the DRSN phone network.

  • 2009-2012 - Onboard USS John L Hall FFG-32 was a KMI Operator as well as assistant LAN Admin. I was also qualified in watch standing up to the radio equipment supervisor.
  • 2012-2015 - Onboard the USS John C Stennis CVN-74 I was the Communication Watch Officer and the Local Element. Managed a radio shack with 20 people and crypto up to the TS level with no incidents or reportable PDS occurring.
  • 2015-2017 - NCTAMS PAC Detachment Puget Sound, NAS Whidbey Island TSCOMM division. While here, I was the watch floor supervisor and Local Element. Assisted local vault in maintaining and issuing crypto to other LE's assigned to the vault, as well as the airwings assigned to NAS Whidbey Island.
