  • SK Life Science Portfolio Management Solution: Developed a solution based on a unique architecture of the company that includes the templates to enable the information and data to roll up from the lowest level to the other levels. The Smartsheet assets were customized-built to help the global drug development company to track, manage, and visualize the fields from the drug IND phase to the FDA final approval phase, including the financial, schedule, and team resource management.
  • NEA various solutions: Developed a variety of the solutions for the organization, including the Office of the Chief Financial Officer’s Budget / Actuals & Year-End Projection, the Strategy Department’s 2-Year Strategic Planning Process, a solution to plan, manage, and monitor the New Business Item process, solutions for the Center for Racial and Social Justice to track Grant Information and to track the outcomes of the tasks for NEA strategic planning activities and connect to Strategy Department’s reporting system, etc.

  • In her role as Cost and Budget Manager for the Public Building Commission (PBC) of Chicago’s $2.4 billion Capital Construction Program, Ms. Wang’s responsibilities included budgeting, estimating, cost controls, and developing cash flow projections (using P6 - Primavera Project Management) and relevant reports. In addition, she was involved in improving business processes and updating program controls procedures, provided maintenance services on Primavera Contract Management (web-based program management software), and supervised the software consultant.
  • Chicago Housing Authority, Plan for Transformation | Chicago, IL
  • As Cost and Budget Manager for the Chicago Housing Authority’s (CHA) $1.6 billion Plan for Transformation, Ms. Wang’s responsibilities included budgeting, cost controls, and developing cash flow projections and relevant reports. Ms. Wang provided annual capital budget in compliance with strict federal requirements, coordinated budget and cost issues with CHA’s departments, and trained new financial staff. Ms. Wang used Prolog (program management software) and Lawson (financial services software) in her role.
  • Department of Water Management of Chicago, Capital Improvement Program | Chicago, IL
  • As Program Controls Specialist for the Department of Water Management’s (DWM) $950 million 5-year Capital Improvement Program, Ms. Wang’s responsibilities included reviewing and comparing design drawings and as-built drawings, analyzing estimates and actual costs, and providing training on Primavera P6 timesheet system. In addition, Ms. Wang maintained financial data within the customed Budget and Cost Control System.
  • Facilities Master Plan, College of DuPage | Glen Ellyn, IL
  • In her role as Project Manager for one project in the program of the implementation of the $335 million, multi-year, multi-phase College of DuPage Facilities Master Plan, which established a link between the east and west campuses, creating one continuous campus. Ms. Wang provided project management services for the project that involved the reconstruction of 1,100 parking spaces and the widening of College Road. In addition, she conducted schedule analyses and oversaw the schedule evaluation of the Technology Education Center and the Health and Sciences Center.
