• Produce/repackage chemicals and products into bags,
supersacks, pails, drums, totes, tankers, and railcars
• Use formulations of raw materials to create product for
packaging/shipping
• Produce bulk loads of liquid product for transfer to drums,
totes, and tankers
• Examine tankers and other forms of storage for cleanliness
before transferring of food-grade product
• Operate machinery such as forklifts, JLGs, and yard dogs to
assist in daily activities
• Receive and store product in a neat and orderly fashion in
accordance with compatibility information
• Fill shipping orders for goods stored, in accordance with
specifications on customer orders or other instructions
• Protect freezable items during cold weather as well as
monitor temperature sensitive product
• Wear proper PPE during production and during the
transferring of product
• Keep warehouse, production areas, and equipment clean to
comply with food-grade policies and GMPs
Assemble boxes and stage all necessary
materials for processing and repackaging waste
into charge boxes for incinerator
•Suit up with proper personal protective
equipment and other necessary equipment for
environmental protection
•Break down and extract waste materials
(including hard solids that may require
jackhammer) from various vendor containers
and dump into mixing pan
• Process materials into various combinations of
solids, mixes and/or slurries and repackages
into charge boxes per process/plan; weighs all
charges to meet, process, plan specifications
• Record all material processed to maintain in-
process inventory data using electronic
scanning devices
•Shrink-wrap charges; move to incinerator dock
for burning
•Consolidate material from drums into roll-off
containers for incineration
• Reclaim vendor drums for recycling and crush
drums that cannot be reused
• Dump waste hoppers, clean process area and
maintain cleanliness of department
•Maintain a complete inventory of personal
protection equipment and other department
supplies
•Communicate with all leadmen and on-coming
shift crews, as required
