- Work within the distribution order handling environment to provide quality and timely service to customers.
- Responsible of receiving, put-away, cycle counting, picking, sorting, packing, laser etching, auditing, and shipment of inventory.
- Equipment used may include laser etch machines, warehouse management system and handled RF scanner, powered material handling equipment, hand and powered banders, computer terminals and manifesting systems, stretch wrap and shrink-wrap machines.
- Load and unload freight using powered industrial forklift trucks or hand pallet jacks.
- Receive stock by visually comparing stock number and quantity against a receiving document.
- Put away stock in picking and reserve locations using both hand and powered material handling equipment.
- Physically count and verify stock picking and reserve locations, and count bulk stock using a counting scale.
- Process customer orders by picking stock from pick locations, visually verifying stock number and quantity against the information displayed on the picking document.
- Pack stock into shipping cartons or assemble inventory into kids.
- Verify items that were picked and/or assembled for a customer through an audit process.

- Monitor all reports being filled out within the cell and assures that such reports are filled out and that the data is accurate. All sheets are placed in the file tray.
- Ensures that all characteristics specified on the Control Plan are within specification or are deviated by the supervisor, using the Process Deviation Form.
- Ensures that all equipment is functioning properly and safely or is deviated by the supervisor, using the Process Deviation Request Form.
- Responsible for observing the quality of products for excessive flash, surface finish,of casting and other obvious or specifically cautioned defects.
- Responsible for the containment of all non-conforming product produced in their cell, and that all product is properly identified and dispositioned.
- Load, unload, move, and pack materials.
- Inspect products to be moved for accuracy and safety
- Load and offload materials onto and off pallets skids, and vehicles.
- Ensure that materials loaded to be transported are secure.
- Ensure that products are safely moved to designated areas.
- Observe and comply with quality, environment, health, and safety procedures.
- Personally check all quality descriptions of the merchandize to be moved.
- Ensure that the products are properly stacked.
- Carry out regular check and maintenance on the forklift.
- Stack and empty inbound shipments.
- Recognize and report mechanical and electrical flaws to the Shipping Supervisor.
- Move item from the stockroom to different units inside the organization either utilizing the forklift or by hand.
- Checks that Job Travelers are stamped and filled out accuracy and completely.
- Pulls boxes and packages for shipment.
