• Place orders for product as needed based on inventory levels

• Do quality assurance checks on produce items daily
• Manage all closed dated products daily and create strategies with sales tem to deplete inventory.
• Evaluate competing vendors and products for assigned category. Recommend suggestions for improvement.

Re-evaluate purchasing habits and behaviors and seek ways to improve procurement process.

Conduct regular meetings with suppliers. Negotiate pricing, terms freight, lead times and other means to reduce cost of products.

Take customers orders over phone. Key in orders into system based on customers scheduled delivery day.

Assist sales team in keying in customers orders when sales reps were out or running behind.

Create pick stickers for order selectors at night.

Run and complete start of day programs.

Performs and supervises standard base supply system operations

Protects and manages supplies and equipment for which the Chief of Supply has storage and inventory responsibility.

Oversees property management function of base supply, including receipt, inspection, issues, storage, inventory control, pickup, and delivery of supplies and equipment.
