I work as an academic advisor that serves to help student-athletes with their schedules, work, and academics. Duties include one-on-one tutoring, monitoring study halls, and assisting with class enrollment and planning.
CHRISCROSS Foundation aims to expand awareness and access to treatment for addiction, mental health, and suicide prevention for young adults and their families. I help to organize events, fundraisers, promote awareness, and strengthen partnerships.
Member of the UW Cheerleading team at UW-Madison for four consecutive years, acted as co-captain senior year. Duties included processing blood daily in lab, observing patient appointments, shadowing tumor resections, and conducting research to create checklists for clinical trials. Checklist was made and approved using written, FDA protocols and from there, developing an adequate flow chart for existing doctors and nurses to follow upon patient enrollment.
Worked as an in-home caregiver for an 89 year old woman. Duties included monitoring and giving medications, BM charting, assisting in walking, feeding, exercising, and coordinating with in-home nurses. Care was around the clock and overnight shifts up to 72 hours.
