Dedicated server with the ability to manage multiple tables while ensuring service excellence. Expertise in training staff and handling busy shifts, enhancing overall workflow and guest satisfaction.
I am a part of the original staff that opened the restaurant back in May 2025. I am properly trained on Toast POS. I would work through 300+ cover nights, and sometimes would handle events of upwards of 100 people out in our garden patio. I would also demonstrate strong multitasking skills by managing managing 4-7 table sections without compromising service quality. I eventually became one of the main server trainers for new staff joining the restaurant, and would also adapt quickly to changing menu items and specials to inform customers effectively.
Very high volume restaurant, especially for Happy Hour. I would have to manage 9-14 table sections including inside and patio service. I would collaborate with team members during busy shifts for efficient workflow on heavy days, which improved guest relations. I would often close the restaurant at night, so I could be trusted to properly break down the restaurant for lunch service the next day. I was also a main server trainer at this location, as well.
Neighborhood grill that was mainly attended by Ross Bridge residents and Renaissance Hotel guests. This was my first serving job, so it's where I mostly learned to read how people's experiences were going, how to communicate with different personality types to ensure the best experience, as well as handling a heavy workload without damaging the guest's perception of the food/establishment.
