To Whom it May Concern, I am thrilled to see an opening within your company. I am a hard-working individual with a passion for Computed Tomography. I love working with patients, Physicians, and other medical staff in the compassionate care of our patients. The diagnosis and care for patients is a passion of mine and I enjoy always having the opportunity to learn something new. Imaging processes, helping to reach the diagnosis of disease, and helping achieve positive outcomes for patients is a very rewarding feeling to me. I have 13 years of clinical experience in Radiology, 9 of which are in CT. My most recent staff experience is being the supervisor of a department at a level 1 trauma center. Since my employment with our facility, I have built and maintained exam protocols for our department. I have collected and submitted protocols and exams for our department's accreditation with the ACR. I have helped monitor and maintain our dose index registry for CT scans performed at our facility. I have helped train and continue to be involved in training and consulting technologists in the performance of CT imaging. I have also helped train technologists in the use of multiple Siemens systems, including the Flash, Force, Edge and most recently the Alpha. I have coordinated workflow in our department, set schedules, and implemented protocols and procedures. I help oversee PACS QA resolutions, missing reports, and billing/coding. I produce high quality CT exams and would love the opportunity to share knowledge with others. Since October of 2020 I have been Clinical Supervisor of the CT department at the Medical University of South Carolina. I have now transitioned into being a travel tech. I have thoroughly enjoyed traveling the country meeting new people, all while doing the job that I love. I think I would make a great fit for your company because I enjoy hard work, meeting new challenges every day, and working together as a team. I am very personable, and thoroughly enjoy teaching new skills. I feel that the connections we make with people in the medical field are what makes the sometimes-challenging field we work in one of the most rewarding as well. I think my positive attitude, fast learning, and keen interest to learn new skills are strong reasons why people have recommended me for positions in the past.
