Utilizes technical experience and electrical drawings to troubleshoot faults with 5 MW power tube systems and 10 MW klystron power amplifier systems and replaces damaged parts.
Assembles circuits from electrical schematics.
Assists in the design of new circuits.
Assembles, tests, and conditions the 200 KW, and 5 MW power tubes used by the linear accelerator.
Troubleshoot and repair control modules for 5 MW and 10 MW systems.
Developed and implemented procedure to rebuild 4 KW power tube output cavities and input sockets.
Designed ion pump control rack for spare 5 MW power tubes, prepared supporting documentation, and reviewed with staff to ensure understanding of operation.
Updates lock out/tag out procedures as needed.

Monitors power level and temperature of 5 MW power tubes and power levels of the 5 MW modulator, adding this information to databases.
