• Research in Disability, 08/01/23, 06/30/24, Developed an 'Emotion Recognition Device for the Visually Impaired' after learning from students at a blind school that one of their greatest challenges was understanding the intentions behind verbal communication. Led a team to further this idea, culminating in our participation in the Regeneron ISEF. As co-first author, I also published a paper on our work in the International Journal of STEAM.
• Independent Research in Electrochemistry and Computational Chemistry, 09/01/23, 02/29/24, Studied a novel approach to enhance the performance of lithium-ion batteries (LiBs) by developing Carbon Nanotube (CNT) and Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) composite coatings for cathodes. Wrote an award-winning paper, 'Development of CNT-PTFE Composite Coating on Li-Battery Cathodes' for Korea Science and Engineering Fair.
