I work with 2 gentleman that have been in the field for 30+ years. They are teaching me a lot, some of the things I have done so far include;

-Running electrical wire to the panel for outlets, lights, light switches, etc.

-Installing outlet boxes and tailing off wires for us down the line.

-Connecting and installing outlets, lights switches , can lights, an overhead fan with lighting, etc.

-Small framing jobs (bathroom and water heater room)

-Installing or removing Siding, Soffit, and Fascia

-Demo

-Drywall (Hanging and finishing)

-Priming and Painting

-Hardwood flooring , trim and casing

• Unload Material
• Set up hydraulic jacks
• Set bin sheets in place
• Bolt and nut bin sheets, roof panels /staircase / ladder / etc
• Help maintain a clean job site
• Drive company trucks and/or trailers to job sites
• Assist with putting the fan / transition in place
• Use grinder to cut holes where necessary (transition for the fan, unload, etc. )
• Put the grain bin metal flooring in.
• Other job responsibilities as needed.

• Load and unload materials within a warehouse or storage facility utilizing hand trucks, forklifts, stand-ups and shelves by hand
• Pull, pre-stage, and supply required materials (raw materials, sub assembly, purchased parts) to work centers accurately and within timeframe required
• Identifies, transports, packs, removes, and disposes of material
• Read pick tickets (work orders) follow instruction to ascertain materials to be shipped
• Stack cable trays onto pallets and install protective devices such as bracing, padding, or strapping to prevent shifting or damage to materials being transported (Tables/Wire mesh)
• Package orders with correct part #, quantity, and install protective devices such as bracing, padding, or strapping to prevent shifting or damage to materials being transported (Parts/Kitting)
• Make sure all materials are labeled correctly
• Perform applicable quality checks and document results.
• Perform basic maintenance activities
• Use scanning equipment to receive, move, and ship product from the inventory management system
• Make sure work area is clean and organized, free from food, waste, trash and any hazard that may cause an injury
• Assembles crates to contain products, such as Parts/Kitting/ Wire Mesh tray, using hand tools and precut lumber
• Print out shipping labels and applying them per standard operating procedure
