With my current experience working with local bands to create music videos, or my peers to create short films, I am looking to enter into a larger-scale work environment. I would love to work with and shadow the cinematography team, and gain experience working with professionals in the industry. I hope to bring my passion for creativity and story-telling to the set, as well as a strong drive to learn as much as I can.
As this was my first job, I learned the basics of working with a crew of people. I started when I was 16, and soon after turning 18 I was promoted to a part-time shift lead where I would handle the closing paperwork duties two-to-three nights a week. I began to find my confidence here, as it involved helping a large amount of guests in a day, as well as leading a crew of 5-8 people on average a night, across several different stations. What I also learned here is how to remain calm under pressure, as we would often have intense rushes that could be overwhelming.
I began my time at American Eagle, briefly as a sales associate. Due to previous management experience, I was considered and then promoted to a part-time sales lead position. From July, 2022, to August, 2024, I filled that role. I would run the floor and communicate with my sales team every shift on what our focuses would be for the day. From this time, I developed strong team-work and team-bonding skills that are essential to working with others. I stepped down in August to put forth more time in school, as well as personal & client-based video projects.
