Reporting to Regional Ethics & Compliance Director Europe South, and as a member of the affiliate management team to General Manager AbbVie Turkey.

Responsible of AbbVie Turkey’s Compliance Program including Allergan Turkey’s pharmaceutical franchise.

Acting as a strategic business partner, provides compliance advice to internal stakeholders for compliance related topics.

As a representative of AbbVie, represents Steering Management Committee of E&C of AIFD (local trade association) and attends meetings with Ministry of Health to provide opinions of all AIFD companies.

Achievements:

• Successfully led E&C of AbbVie Turkey and Allergan Turkey merger.
• Established an ‘always audit ready’ mindset in the organization which resulted with successful internal audit process in 2018 with satisfactory rating & 2023 with zero finding.
• Led a successful internal audit process in Greece with a satisfactory result.
• Successfully participated in global projects on an annual basis to analyze needs and gaps globally and to create global policies and guidelines accordingly.
• Established a medical governance model in cooperation with the affiliate medical director to ensure full compliance with the promo codes.
• Created and implemented an affiliate E&C Risk Assessment Tool and Annual Planning Process for the affiliate.

• Due to maternal leave of AbbVie Legal Counsel, Ethics & Compliance Manager, assigned temporarily to the role Provided legal and compliance advice on daily basis to AbbVie Turkey.
• Ensured fully operating of compliance program of the Turkish affiliate.

• Provided legal advises to multinational companies including manufacturers of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, special food and feed, cosmetics on important legislative projects and policy developments in Turkey.
• Supported pharmaceutical and energy companies in Corporate Law related topics including drafting and managing General Assembly and Board of Directors resolutions processes.
• Act as registered trademark representative and patent representative.
• Provided legal advice to manufacturing companies in Trademark and Intellectual Property Law related topics.

• Provided legal advice to multinational companies in Trademark and Intellectual Property Law related topics.
• Represented multinational and local companies in numerous lawsuits in civil courts for intellectual and industrial property rights.
