Accomplishments
- Scholarship - June 2023 - DCFS: I was the recipient of a scholarship from the Department of Children and Family Services in 2023. This was a scholarship opportunity that was open to all people who were or currently are in the foster care system. This scholarship awarded me a five-year education which is 100% tuition paid.
- Assisted in providing feedback and support from the Youth Advisory Board to help represent children in the foster care system who were affected by the juvenile delinquency system, child abuse and neglect, as well as child custody and visitation.
- Inducted in the National Honors Society sophomore year of high school.
- Participated in all AP/Honors courses in biology, social sciences, humanities, and Spanish.
