Work History

Substitute Teacher

Chicago Public Schools
10.2023 - Current

I have extensive experience working across multiple
Chicago Public Schools with students from Pre-K-8th
Grade, serving in both general education and Diverse
Learner classrooms. I consistently followed teacher
lesson plans to deliver effective instruction, maintained
accurate attendance records, and upheld classroom
expectations. My adaptability allowed me to seamlessly
transition between classes and school-based needs.

Internship

Chicago Public Schools
09.2024 - 05.2025

During my internship with CPS, I worked in both
elementary and high school settings serving those at a
socioeconomic disadvantage in both North Lawndale &
Bronzeville. I facilitated small social groups, taught SEL
and college/career readiness lessons, and conducted
individual student support. I actively participated in BHT,
PLT, PLC, GLT and attendance team meetings. I
supported teacher training on DESSA Mini, and utilized
tools like BranchingMinds, Aspen, & Kickboard. I enjoyed
supporting the high school fair and student visits,
demonstrating strong initiative and commitment to student
development.
