Throughout my career, my biggest achievement was building with Thorntons. I dedicated myself to proving my worth and, in return, they supported my advancement. Striving to become a jack of all trades, I aimed to enhance my usefulness and expand my knowledge of various tasks and their significance. This experience improved my understanding of strategy and taught more me to manage my time effectively and prioritize daily goals efficiently. I firmly believe that with enough time, effort, and the utilization of all available resources, any goal can be accomplished. Looking towards my next long-term job, I hope to continue growing within a company and be granted another chance to showcase my capabilities.

  • I make the store orders for our needed items and also maintain current stock by counting and comparing the current amount of product/ sales from that product to the starting monthly total and expected sales

  • Plus doing daily walks throughout the store to guarantee the temperatures are following the food safety guidelines

  • Aside from all my managerial duties, a main aspect of being a Food Service Manager is helping guests and doing the best I can to give them a positive experience not only with our food but with the company as a whole
  • This can include discussing ingredients in the food for those with allergies, helping a guest find specific things (utensils, hot dog buns, etc.) and greeting everyone with a smile
