-Oversee daily operations of the dental assisting team
-Train, mentor, and support new and existing dental assistants
-Ensure proper sterilization, infection control, and OSHA compliance
-Manage clinical supply inventory and place orders when needed
-Prepare treatment rooms and ensure they’re properly stocked
-Assist the dentist during procedures with chairside support
-Maintain patient flow by coordinating appointments and treatment readiness
-Review patient charts and ensure accurate documentation
-Monitor equipment functionality and coordinate repairs or maintenance

-Address patient concerns and support patient education

-Assist dentists chairside in general dentistry, including restorative, prosthodontic, and preventive procedures
-Experienced in orthodontics, including clear aligner therapy (Invisalign): case setup, attachments, IPR assistance, tray delivery, patient instruction, and progress monitoring
-Support oral surgery procedures, including extractions, surgical setups, suctioning, suture management, and sterile technique
-Assist in endodontic treatments, including rubber dam placement, instrument setup, digital imaging, and maintaining aseptic workflow
-Oversee sterilization protocols, instrument processing, and OSHA/infection control compliance
-Manage clinical supply inventory, place orders, and ensure operatories remain fully stocked
-Prepare treatment rooms and ensure readiness for all specialties
-Maintain accurate patient records and documentation for multi-specialty procedures
-Communicate effectively with front office staff to coordinate scheduling and optimize patient experience
-Educate patients on aftercare instructions across all specialty procedures
-Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance or repairs
-Lead by example in professionalism, patient care, and adherence to office policies
