Incident Response Manager
- Manage Incident response center.
- Manage Incident Response team.
- Work on providing assistance to online users in South Sudan, with a focus on issues related to cyber threats including but not limited to Cyberbullying, Online harassment, Misinformation, Hacking, Impersonation, Doxing, Incitement to violence, and Improper use of intellectual property online.
- Receive, document, and report cyber security events that are directed to Safetycomm through online channels or direct referral by a partner organization.
- Categorize incidents and implement corresponding escalation procedures.
- Analyze reports to understand threat campaign(s) techniques, lateral movements and extract indicators of compromise (IOCs).
- Communicate and coordinate incident response efforts and ensure tickets are closed at the end of the response.
- Work on Any other duties as requested by the Safetycomm lead and Management;
- Reference applicable departmental and operating administration policies, national laws, and Social Media community standards.
- Access, secure and inspect classified information.
- Adhere to SafetyComm’s ethical and privacy policy to ensure the confidentiality and safety of user data.
- Attend weekly team briefs and meetings.
- Manage and reply to queries on SafefyComm’s WhatsApp and short code lines.
- Conduct training needs analysis to identify the knowledge, skills and competencies required within an institution.
- Map out annual training plans for SafetyComm.
- Design and develop training programs (outsourced and/or in-house)
- Select appropriate training methods or activities (e.g., simulations, mentoring, on-the-job training, professional development classes).
- Promote SafetyComm’s available training programs to partners and provide the most suitable training program based on the needs.
- Conduct organization-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that must be addressed.
- Use known education principles and stay up-to-date on new training methods and techniques.
- Recommend designs and develops creative learning solutions that include, but are not limited to, classroom training, distance learning, eLearning and blended learning solutions.
- Compile and prepare periodic monthly reports to submit to the supervisor
- Design, prepare and order educational aids and materials
- Assess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills and KPIs.
- Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each training session.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and liaise with experts regarding instructional design.
