My name is Antonio Casas Villasenor, and I live in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood of Chicago, IL. I am proud to serve as a US Army soldier with the 233rd Military Police Unit, where I hold the MOS 88N, specializing in transportation management. Alongside my military duties, I am actively pursuing my goal of becoming a Chicago police officer by earning 60 college credits toward this career path.
My experience includes an internship at the 14th District Police Department and working for the City of Chicago issuing parking tickets. These roles have given me valuable insight into law enforcement and community service. What drives me most is my dedication to serving and protecting my community as a police officer.
I am looking for a job where I can grow, learn, and be supported by an understanding team. I am eager to bring my discipline, willingness to learn, and commitment to this next step in my career.
As an 88N Transportation Management Coordinator in the 233rd Military Police Company of the US Army National Guard, I coordinate and manage the movement of personnel, equipment, and supplies to ensure efficient and timely transportation support for military operations. My responsibilities include planning, scheduling, and tracking shipments, managing transportation assets, and maintaining detailed records to support mission readiness.
In addition to my transportation duties, my Military Police training equips me with skills in law enforcement, security operations, detainee handling, and force protection. This dual expertise allows me to support both logistical and security aspects of military missions, ensuring safe and effective operations within the unit and during deployments
As a part-time Security Guard with Monterrey Security, I provided event security at major venues such as Soldier Field, Rosemont, and Geek Stadium. I worked closely with Rosemont Police, Geek Stadium Police, and Chicago Police to ensure a safe environment for attendees. My duties included monitoring crowds, handling a variety of situations involving diverse groups of people, and writing detailed incident reports. This experience strengthened my ability to work under pressure, communicate effectively, and collaborate with law enforcement during large-scale events.
As a Ticket Enforcement Officer for LAZ Parking in the City of Chicago, I was responsible for issuing parking tickets and enforcing city parking regulations, including expired plates and double parking violations. I regularly wrote detailed incident reports and validated tickets to ensure accuracy and compliance. My role required frequent coordination and communication with police officers and the public, often using two-way radios to effectively manage situations. This experience developed my attention to detail, report writing skills, and ability to work collaboratively with law enforcement and diverse community members.
I have successfully completed all required Army Basic Training certifications, including CPR, Stop the Bleed, firearms proficiency, and land navigation. Additionally, I earned my Stop the Bleed certification at the Chicago Police Academy. Outside the military, I was a Noble League wrestler and currently practice Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I also hold a black belt in Taekwondo, demonstrating my dedication, discipline, and physical training.
