I went to school to get my industrial electrician certificate. A lot of the classes were mostly about book material, not a lot of hands-on training. Motors and Controls was basically the only class with hands-on training, and I felt like I learned a lot in that class. I worked at a warehouse for five years, but I decided to leave so I could get started on my electrical journey. I wish I had started my electrical journey a little bit sooner in life, but at the job I'm currently at, I definitely feel that I'm gaining knowledge and getting a lot of experience.

- We do a lot of new construction and residential projects.
- In most of the new construction projects, we deal with conduit. So I know how to do 90s and offsets, but I do need more practice on saddles and back-to-back 90s.
- I wire up switches, three-way switches, outlets, lights, and have dealt with wiring panels.
- i have done a couple residential services and panel upgrades

- I was considered a plugger, so I had a little bit more responsibility than a normal stocker. Being a plugger meant I had to stock my bins pretty fast, or else the pickers would not have any work.
