Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems including rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, boilers, and refrigeration equipment

Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and energy efficiency

Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues using advanced diagnostic tools

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams

Service and repair components such as compressors, heat exchangers, motors, belts, and control boards

Check refrigerant levels, identify leaks, and recharge systems in compliance with EPA standards. Respond to emergency service calls and minimize system downtime for commercial clients

Maintain accurate service reports, logs, and documentation

Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly to customers and facility managers

Ensure all work meets local, state, and federal codes and safety regulations

Coordinate with contractors, property managers, and other trades as needed

Assist lead installers with the installation of residential and light commercial HVAC systems

Load, unload, and transport equipment, tools, and materials to job sites

Help install furnaces, air conditioners, condensers, air handlers, and ductwork

Measure, cut, and assemble duct systems and piping

Run refrigerant lines, electrical wiring, and low-voltage controls under supervision

Support system startup and basic testing to ensure proper operation

Maintain a clean and organized job site

Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines

Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals

Communicate effectively with team members and occasionally with customers

Assist with removal and disposal of old HVAC equipment

Keep tools and company vehicles clean and properly stocked

Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems

Diagnose system issues using gauges, meters, and diagnostic tools

Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency and longevity

Inspect and test system components such as compressors, motors, thermostats, and electrical controls

Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications

Charge refrigerant systems and check for leaks in compliance with EPA standards

Clean and replace filters, coils, and other system components

Assemble orders quickly and accurately for dine-in, drive-thru, and takeout
