My job has various aspects. i care for patients before, through and after endoscopic procedure including assessment of the patient, inserting IV access, monitoring, helping to recover from the procedure and providing education through the process. I prepare and administer sedation. I assist to perform endoscopic procedures including colono/gastroscopy, EUS, ERCP. It is including polypectomy, collections of specimen, papillotomy, injection of contrast material and using all the techniques neccessery for performin ERCP, FNA biopsies through EUS, ligation of varices, usage of Gold Probe and Argon, various techniques of stopping GI bleeding including use of Hemospray, balloon dilation in case of strictures in GI, administering IV treatments for IBD patients. I educate new workers and one of my responsibilities id education of all of our team in speciific aspects that are chosen from time to time by our manager. Also i am responsible for quality and safety of medical treatment in our ward.

i was rersponsible for building and managing a course which specialized in surgical care for students studying for BA Nursing Degree. I was teaching in this course by myself and also chose other instructors. I was in constant communication with my students. I have tutored a couple of struggling students to success. Also i wrote exam questions for my course. part of my job was to be a clinical instructor for the students in internal medicine ward.

I was an endoscopy nurse of a small gastro center that performed only gastro and colonoscopy procedures. In addition to my responsibilities as an endoscopy nurse i was also managing the medicine supplies and monitoring the quality of medicine treatment, which included education of our team. I was leading meetings of workers and talking with them about topics that rise up the quality of care in Assuta company. The topic were chosen by the management.
