Accomplishments

Co-Chair Unit Council:

October of 2024 I joined Unit Council in our NICU. I love that nurses are able to voice their opinions and contribute to discussions that shape policies and procedures within the unit, ensuring that their insights and experiences are voiced. We can advocate for each other by addressing concerns, suggesting improvements, and influence changes that benefit the entire team and enhance the work environment.

Fostering a culture of collaboration encourages teamwork and empowers nurses to take ownership of their practice, leading to a more positive and productive work atmosphere.

As nurses are heard the efficiency and performance in patient care will soar. To be a part of this, I am able to lift other nurses to bring back their passion and energy to the workplace.
