Motivated Electrical Engineering student with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for exploring topics in depth. Seeking a role in signal processing or chip design.
Circuit Design and Simulation:
Solid understanding of core electrical engineering topics, with hands-on experience using Cadence Virtuoso and Multisim for both analog and digital design (Grade: Digital Logic Design – 88).
Signal Processing and Statistical Estimation:
• Theoretical knowledge: digital filter design, polyphase filters, filter banks, STFT, spectral estimation, and statistical filtering (Wiener, Kalman, LMS)
• Practical experience: MATLAB-based lab work involving digital filtering, polyphase structures, time-frequency analysis, and spectral estimation tools.
• Advanced coursework: graduate-level course in estimation and detection theory (Statistical Analysis of Data)
• (Grades: DSP – 91, Random Signals and Noise – 95)
Active Speaker Detection and Localization
I used CRNN-based method for estimating the position of the active speaker in multi-person conversations using microphone array data and visual supervision.
My contribution: improved localization accuracy at the inference stage by combining visual cues (e.g., face tracking) with the audio network’s output through score fusion.
