Operate/isolate Steam piping in the tunnels and/or buildings by steam valves.

Isolate any part of the steam, chilled water, domestic water, or equipment in an emergency to mitigate any further damage.

Operate/isolate chilled water piping valves.

Inspect/operate steam traps, vacuum and condensate pumps, sanitary/storm pumps.

Inspect/operate/troubleshoot ventilation fans and other mechanical equipment.

Monitor/patrol of the natural gas system.

Respond/investigate/troubleshoot after hour calls from Post-I and from service.

Office during normal work hours, and dispatch proper trades if needed.

Collect condensate samples from the tunnels all over campus and return to Abbott for testing.

Prepare/submit work orders for failed/defective equipment, fittings, or materials throughout campus buildings and infrastructure.

Respond and locate campus utilities such as storm, sanitary, steam, chilled water and more per J.U.L.I.E

Navigate the Arc-reader and understand how to read it to do J.U.L.I.E locates correctly / accurately

Check the lift stations and make sure the alarms and pumps are working as they should.

Train the new hires (ASDO'S) who don't have a year of experience yet.

• Assisted in repair and adjustment of equipment using hand and power tools
• Performed minor repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services
• Such as replace tires, batters, filters, fluids, wiper blades, and clean vehicles/the shop
• Drove and maintained lots of different equipment such as: BackHoe loader, end loader, JLG, skid-steer, kabota, drum Roller, Motor Grader, snow plow vehicles, Garbage trucks, Roll Offs, and lots of other airbrake CDL vehicles
• Talk to customers and hand out rental cars, Fill out work orders and read old work orders that are filed

• Executed preventive and corrective maintenance on work trucks and other vehicles
• Engage with customers to determine automotive requirements and communicate vehicular defects or problems
• Assesse vehicles or machinery to accurately diagnose and repair issues
• I do anything from an oil change to complete engine and transmission swaps
• Lastly, I do all the maintenance to the building and equipment/tools
• Completed full vehicle inspections to check for leaks, damage, or other issues of concern.
• Disassembled defective parts to make proper repairs.
